<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicolaos Plaitis, surrounded by his loving family, on October 21st, 2020. <br> <br>Beloved husband of Evanthia, he also leaves behind his children Andreas (Rita) and Cathy (Strato), his grandchildren Nicholas (Tanya), Carmelo (Tara), Theo and Nicholas, his great-grandchildren Evanthia, Andreas, Adonis, Matteo and Alexi, his brother in Crete Stelios Plaitis, as well as many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. <br> <br>He was a devoted husband, father, relative and friend whose love had no bounds. <br> <br>Visitations will be held at the Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Sources Blvd. DDO, H9B 2A6) on Tuesday October 27th, 2020 from 2pm to 5 and from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral service will take place at the St-George Cathedral (2455 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, QC H3T 1A8) on Wednesday October 28th, 2020 at 11am, followed by the burial at the Rideau Memorial Gardens. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations In Memoriam of Nicolaos Plaitis made to the Foundation of Sacré-Coeur Hospital would be greatly appreciated. Nicolaos Plaitis survenu le 21 octobre 2020, entouré de sa famille aimante. <br> <br>Époux chéri d’Evanthia, il laisse également dans le deuil ses enfants Andreas (Rita) et Cathy (Strato), ses petits-enfants Nicholas (Tanya), Carmelo (Tara), Theo et Nicholas, ses arrière-petits-enfants Evanthia, Andreas, Adonis, Matteo et Alexi, son frère en Crète Stelios Plaitis, ainsi que de nombreux cousins, nièces, neveux et amis. <br> <br>Époux, père, proche et ami dévoué, son amour était infini. <br> <br>Les visites auront lieu à la Maison Funéraire Rideau (4275 Sources Blvd. DDO, H9B 2A6) le mardi 27 Octobre 2020 de 14h à 17h et de 18h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu à la Cathédrale St-George (2455 Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, QC H3T 1A8) le mercredi 28 octobre 2020 à 11h, suivi par l'inhumation aux Jardins Commémoratif Rideau. <br> <br>En lieu de fleurs, des dons In Memoriam au nom de Nicolaos Plaitis à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Sacré-Cœur seraient grandement appréciés.
