Pasquale Iermieri
January 1, 1936 - November 11, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Pasquale Iermieri. He passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on November 11th, 2022, at the age of 86.
Born on January 1st, 1936, in the province of Benevento, Italy, Pasquale was a man that led with his heart and always greeted you with a warm smile.
He spoiled us all with vegetables from his garden, anecdotes from his youth and became famous for his one-liners that brought a smile to everyone’s face. To know him was to love him.
His welcoming and light-hearted demeanour remained unparalleled even in his most difficult days.
Irreplaceable and forever in our hearts.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 62 years Lucia Iermieri (Lamorte), his loving children Agostino, Angie (Daniel) and Maria (Michael) and his cherished grandchildren Tatiana, Anthony, Mickaela, and Justin. He will also be greatly missed by nieces and nephews, many relatives and friends.
Many heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence and the team from CLSC and Nova for home care throughout his long battle with cancer.
Visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20th, 2022, 2:30pm – 5:30pm, with a service following.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
