<div itemprop="description">Patricia O’Shea (nee Gaudet) passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2020. She was born May 15th, 1940 in Charlottetown Prince Edward Island. She dedicated 37 years of her life to the teaching profession which she truly loved, starting in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and onward to Montreal in the 1970s where she taught at James Lyng H.S. and subsequently at Richelieu Valley High School on the South Shore. She was forever exuberant with her students and in the presence of fellow educators and retired teachers both in Quebec and the Maritimes. <br> <br>Pat loved skiing and golfing and was a past president and executive member of the Tera Golf Association in Montreal and she was a favourite of many other local Irish associations as well. She and her husband enjoyed their many exciting trips to Ireland, Europe, Florida and the Caribbean . <br> <br>She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 44 years, John O’Shea, her brothers and sisters on PEI, George (deceased) (Elaine) Gaudet, Judie (Ken) Goulden, Harry (Sandra) Gaudet, Frank Gaudet (Bunty)(deceased), Virginia (Ginny) Gaudet, Denise (Keith) McPhail and John (Germaine) Gaudet of Ottawa. Also by her in-laws in Ireland and England, Jimmy O’Shea, Margaret (Pat) O’Sullivan, Jerome (Anne) O’Shea, and by many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, United States and Canada. <br> <br>Pat was pre deceased by her parents, Harold and Patricia(Lady) Gaudet, her brother George Gaudet, her in-laws, Bunty McCabe Albert, Charlottetown, Michael and Bridie O’Shea and Frances O’Shea of Beaufort, County Kerry, Ireland. <br> <br>“Ar dheis De go raibh a Hanam dilis” …. RIP <br> <br>Funeral service is entrusted to Rideau Memorial Gardens and is limited to family at this time.
