September 29, 1931 - April 7, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philomena Vallis, on April 7, 2019.
Beloved wife of the late George T. Vallis.
Loving mother of Wayne (Franca) and Allana (Gérard).
Cherished grandmother of Jason, Matthew, Allan, Enrico, Antoine and great grandmother of Jade and Trent.
Predeceased by her siblings Sam, Tony, Rose and Frank Jr. and brother-in-law Michael Szep, she will also be greatly missed by her sister Margaret, sisters-in-law Marcelle and Suzanne, brother-in-law Ron Mancini, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 2pm to 5pm, 7pm to 9pm and on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 9am to 9:30am. The funeral service will be held at Resurrection of Our Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10am followed by the burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in her memory.
