<div itemprop="description">On the evening of February 26th, 2023, Mr. Rabindra (Robi) Gupta of Kirkland, passed away. <br> <br>He was married to his late wife, Mrs. Rupali Gupta, for 60 years. Mr. Gupta is survived by his daughter, granddaughter, grandson, and many nephews and nieces. <br> <br>He received his Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Calcutta University, and then was invited to Hamburg, Germany for further studies and training. He later earned his fellowship from the international Society of Charted Shipbrokers. Mr. Gupta was a senior executive in global, commercial maritime shipping for nearly forty years. He served in executive capacities in British, European, and Canadian companies. His work carried him all over the world and he developed a keen interest in global cultures, as he visited regions from Southeast Asia, to the Persian Gulf, Eastern Africa, and across Europe. He was accompanied in his travels by his wife, Rupali. <br> <br>He was known for his embracing warmth, wisdom, and wit. He was an avid gardener, photographer, and poet.</div>
