<div itemprop="description">It is with a heavy heart and great sadness, we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Arthur Hunt on January 3rd, 2022, at the age of 67 in Pointe-Claire, Québec. <br> <br>He is survived by his loving wife Janet, sons Sean (Nicole), Kyle (Tanya) and his grandsons Nathan and James, father-in-law Charles Buchan, siblings, Audrey (Bob), Brenda (Hubert), Madeleine (late Andrew), William (Ronnie), Victor (Cathy), Norman (Cindy), as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many adoring friends. <br> <br>Bob was a passionate and caring person who loved connecting with people and bringing them together. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His commitment to his family, friends and employees was second to none. To those who knew him, he had an incredibly big heart. <br> <br>Bob was a natural entrepreneur, who started his first car parts company out of his home when he was just 22 years old. He founded and operated multiple successful companies and employed many amazing people. <br> <br>His passion extended beyond business, as most who knew him understood his love for cars especially the many Mercedes-Benz vehicles he has worked on, rebuilt, and owned over the years. <br> <br>We want to thank the professional staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital who cared for him during his final days. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers; Donations in Bob’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at the following link: http://support.cancer.ca/goto/Robert_Hunt <br> <br>Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral will be held on January 12th, 2022, at the Rideau Funeral Home. <br> <br>A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where all those who knew and loved him will be welcome. <br> <br>He will be missed. <br></div>
