<div itemprop="description">Our beloved father, Rudolph “Rudy” Richards, of Chomedey, Laval, Quebec peacefully entered the presence of His Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday December 14th, 2022, at the age of 88. <br> <br>A proud son of the island of Dominica, he was born to Louisa Dorival & Cephus Richards. Rudolph spent much of his childhood in Barbados and returned to Dominica in his twenties where had an early career as a Prison Officer. He was a proud member of the Dominica Government Band where he played the trumpet, and the drums. <br>In Canada, he worked as a Quality Control Inspector for over 30 years and donated his time by volunteering in church and community. He continued his passion for music by singing in the choir and celebrated his roots by performing at Expo 67 among many other cultural events. <br>He is most remembered for his ability to entertain, his passion for music, cooking and the joy of tending to his garden and ballroom dancing. He is deeply cherished by his many siblings, family and close friends living around the world. <br> <br>Rudolph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Angela and will be greatly missed by his children: Deborah(dec), Rupert, Caryl-Anne, Connie (Terry), Beverly (Eddy), and Suzan. <br>He was especially proud to be a grandfather to: Camilla, Nathaniel, Darnell, Ronson, James, Kimberly, Keshia, Edmund, Zolani, Julianne and Samuel and great-grandfather to Caspian and Cashmere. <br> <br>In his memory, donations to Agape Laval, will be greatly appreciated.
