<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Samuel Beresford Selman at the age of 95. <br>He was the devoted husband of Mary Josephine Selman for 64 years. Mary predeceased him in 2020. <br>Samuel was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, who cherished his family. <br>Samuel was the loving father of five; Earl (Doreen), Marcia, Rodney (Cleo), Sonia, and Henderson (Hilda). <br>He was the loving grandfather of Kevin, Fanta, Kimani, Tara, Eric, (Abena), Julie-Ann, Jennifer, Anthony, Jonathan, Marcus, Rebekah, Matthew, Jasmine, and Jessica-Noelle. <br>He was the great grand father of Brianna, Taija, Elijah, Jayden, Isaiah, Cedric, Elena, Uriah, Kai Rose-Dalhya and others. <br>He was the great uncle of Kevin, Danielle, Erica, Dante, Kareem, Jovon and others. <br>They all loved him well and called him daddy or granddad. <br>Samuel was predeceased by his sister Vivian Selman, his brother Dalton Selman and niece Deidre Robitaille. <br>He leaves behind his nephews Keith Selman and Kevin Selman. He was the cousin of Joseph, Andrew, Miriam and many others. <br>Samuel’s family loved him very much. He was hard-working and left behind a legacy for his children’s children, which was built through years of hard work and devotion to his family. He truly left footprints in the sands of time. <br> <br>We will miss him greatly. <br> <br>Family and friends are invited to honour his memory by joining us at Rideau Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home on September 8th at 10:00 am. <br></div>
