<div itemprop="description">The Mark family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mother Sylvia Mark on September 6th 2020 <br> <br>Sylvia was born in Montrose, Trinidad. She married Mr Alroy Mark in 1956 and immigrated to Canada in 1965, after his death, with her children. <br> <br>She attended McGill University and worked at Eaton's, Domtar and Codalex as an accountant. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devout Christian who put her family first. <br> <br>She is survived by her 5 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and siblings. She is predeceased by her son Colin, his wife Mary Kay Ramsey, mother Olga Boxill and sister, Jacquline Samson. <br> <br>Sleep in peace…we love you Mom. <br> <br>The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc H9B2A6 on Thursday September 17th 2020 from 6pm to 9pm and on Friday September 18th as of 10am followed by a funeral service at the funeral at 11 am. <br> <br> <br> <br>For those who cannot attend the events, you are invited to join the family by using the following Livestream links: <br> <br> <br> <br>www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/6651 (for event Thursday Sept 17 2020) <br> <br>www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/6652 (for event Friday Sept 18 2020) <br> <br> <br> <br>Du to the pandemic situation, a maximum of 24 people (including the family) will be allowed at once in the parlor.
