It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tony Lepore, on Sunday, October 18 2020, in Pointe-Claire, at the age of 79.

He was the loving husband of Helen Lepore, with whom he shared his life with for 58 years. He will be greatly missed by his children Marino (Sarah), Roxana (Tony), and Dominic (Dominique). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren whom he cherished, David, Olivia, Nicolas, Maya, Isabella, Luca and Tony. He also leaves behind his two sisters Marisa, Lena (Norm) and many other family and friends.

Tony was born in Italy and came to Canada when he was a young teenager. There he met the love of his life and started his family. He had a long successful career at Seagram where he worked his way up the corporate ladder to become VP of Human Resources. He was highly regarded and well respected to all those who had the opportunity to interact with him. His love for travel brought Tony & Helen all around the world, and he loved to tell stories about their experiences and the different foods and wines they enjoyed.

Tony was very passionate about his family and more than anything else, loved spending time with them. His most enjoyable times were spent with everyone sharing a great Italian meal and wine. He proudly bragged to everyone about the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. Our world is now a little smaller, but the joy, love and care he gave us all will carry us through with wonderful memories of a life well lived. Rest easy Nonno, your work here is done!

The family will receive condolences on Friday, October 30 from 2:30pm to 4:30 at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, des Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, 514-685-3344), followed by a celebration of Tony’s life at 4:30pm in the Chapel of the funeral home.
