Virve / Mum / Mom / Grammy / Mrs. K. was a quiet yet deceptively strong-willed character with a quirky sense of humour who insisted on living life on her own terms (as stated by her home-caregiver Heather) - which she succeeded in doing until almost her last days. Despite (or perhaps due to) her idiosyncratic nature, Virve was an extraordinary woman of her times who set an indelible example for her two daughters, Ene and Imbi, who along with their partners Paul Mouland (Ene) and Alec Wade (Imbi), and her grandson Eliasz (Kannel-Wade), will remember her fondly and with great respect for the rest of their lives.</div>
