It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dad, Ain Rosin, on September 12, 2020.

Survived by his two daughters, Aileen Rosin (Jeff Lavallée, grandchildren Darren and Amy), Karlie Carpentier Rosin (Kyle Misewich, and awaiting arrival of newest granddaughter), his brother Raivo, along with many other family members. Predeceased by his third wife Elke Dinter, who passed away in March 2017. He will be greatly missed by his family, as well as his incredible friends, many of whom we had the chance to grow up with and have come to also consider as family.

An avid reader and a generous soul, Ain was a happy, easy going man with an infectious smile and sense of humour, who loved the outdoors and enjoyed activities such as boating, fishing, BBQing, travelling, spending time with friends, and sharing stories.

A long-time employee of CSA for over 40 plus years, Ain acquired many friends and worked with many colleagues while travelling the world for work, and will be missed by all of those who knew and worked with him over those years.

Sadly, due to the Covid protocols, a proper celebration of life cannot be held at the present time to include the family and his many friends, but will take place at a later date. A private burial is planned then as well. For now, we ask for everyone who wants to participate to join us and take a moment of silence this Sunday October 4, 2020 at 11AM EST to think of the great memories you’ve had with our dad over the years. To stay informed, and to share memories, photos or condolences with the family and his friends, please go to our digital guest book at karlie.ca/ainrosin.

Thank you, and as our dad would say: “Keep on Truckin’!”
