<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Costas (Gus) Chontos, who suddenly left us on Thursday May 30th, 2024. Born on March 23rd, 1959 he was a beloved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. <br> <br>Gus will be dearly missed by his brothers Louis and Peter, his sister Katina, his nieces Christina and Dina, his nephews George and Louis Junior, his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, and a multitude of other relatives and cherished friends. <br> <br>Known for his kindness, crazy stories, jokes, and his infectious laughter, Gus was a gentle soul who touched the lives of all who knew him. He will forever be remembered as the “rock” of his family. <br> <br>Visitation will take place at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6, on Tuesday June 4th, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00PM. The funeral service will be held on June 5th, 2024 at 10:00AM at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 Chemin du Souvenir, Laval (Quebec) H7W 1E1, and he will be laid to rest at Notre-Dame-de-l ’Esperance Cemetery, 1759 Rue Antoine Dalmas, Ste-Dorothée, Laval (Quebec) H7Y 2A8, following the service. <br> <br></div>
