Cynthia Constance Gregory
Cynthia was born in India on November 12, 1931 the youngest of her siblings and the only girl to 4 brothers. Leo, Olpherts, Dereik and King.
All of the children were very proudly educated at the La Martiniere boarding school. Following boarding school, Aunty Cynthia completed her nurses training, however decided to embark on an adventure to see the world. She worked for Air India and BOAC as an air stewardess. She travelled the world, had many amazing stories, and always dressed very glamourously.
She emigrated to Canada in 1965 and worked as a registered nurse in several Toronto Hospitals as well as private duty nursing. She continued to work with “Meals on Wheels” into her 80’s.
Cynthia was very gregarious and liked to go out with friends for diners, movies, and parties. She was also actively involved with the church and helped many charities. Cynthia lived a long and happy life and always said she wouldn't change a thing. She passed away at 91 years of age peacefully in her own home.
She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and many nieces and nephews in Canada, Australia, India and the UK.
