July 2nd, 2024, Diane passed away, surrounded by her sister, brother in-law and beloved nieces, after bravely battling metastatic breast cancer with unwavering strength, positivity and courage.

She leaves behind her sister Lori Collinge (Gordon Alexander), her nieces Erica Collinge (Robert Honsberger) and Bridget Collinge, her step niece and nephew Coreen Mara (Ryan Mara) and Cameron Alexander (Chelsea Schmidt), as well as her great nephew Jack Collinge-Honsberger and great step-niece Georgia Mara. She will be deeply missed by many cousins, members of the extended family, and wonderful neighbors and friends.

Personally, Diane was a kind, caring and loving person. Her family has always been her priority and she will be missed terribly. She was fortunate to retire early and find great friends in the figure skating community in the west island where she remained an active figure skater until December 2023. She was also passionate about following professional figure skating, caring for animals, her home and her garden.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life on August 4, 2024 at 10:30 at Rideau Funeral Home, located at 4275 Sources Boulevard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Quebec) H9B 2A6 followed by short reception. A private interment will follow for the immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Humane Society or towards cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital in memory of Diane would be greatly appreciated.
