Our collective hearts are broken to announce the passing of my beloved Mom Dolly Paul-Ramcharan on Friday April 26th at 3:30am.
She was the solid rock we could always count on, the foundation of our family who selflessly knew no limits to the love and affection her heart could contain for her family, whether blood relation or not.
If you had the honor of knowing her, you could not be but awed by the depth of her love and caring.
You also know that you could not ever dare leave her home without first having relished in some of her exquisite and delicious home cooking. Mom was hailed as one of the best cooks in our very large family. Her legacy will live on in the many cooking lessons she shared with all who was as passionate about food as she was…
Sadly, a piece of her heart was shattered when my sister Nadia died only a few short years ago... This left an indelible and irreparable heartache which no one or anything could restore. For those closest to her, we shared in her sadness. It is not surprising that her broken heart failed for the last time last week.
While our hearts are now temporarily filled with sorrow as we grieve her loss, we also know that she is now reunited with her Nadia and her heart is whole again.
Mom’s bright and contagious smile which I have come to miss is most assuredly restored and this gives me joy and peace in my heart ❤️.
Bye Mom… thank you for being the best Mom and Grandma I and our family could ever have hoped for ❤️
Wilson on behalf of the entire Paul and Ramcharan families.
