<div itemprop="description">Dorothy Ruth (Beck) Carter passed away peacefully the evening of June 15th at the Residence Vigi DDO, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec, at the age of 96. She was born July 17, 1927, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. <br> <br>She is survived by her son Rick (Jolene), daughter Debbie (Daniel) and granddaughter Arianne. She was preceded in death by her mother Jenny (Hart) Beck, her father Guy Oswald Beck, her brothers David, Kenneth, and Daniel, and her sisters Alma and Ella. <br> <br>The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at CHSLD Vigi DDO for their loving care and compassion over the past three years. <br> <br>Visitation will take place at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6:00pm-7:00pm followed by a service to celebrate Dorothy’s life at 7:00pm. <br> <br>Dorothy lived a full life, relied on her faith and touched many people over the years. She had a special interest in knitting and crocheting and produced enough squares to produce a quilt that could cover the island of Montreal. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and she brought joy to everyone she met. While we all loved her, she always loved us more.</div>
