<div itemprop="description">With great sadness we announce the death of Elena Cadogan, age 79. She passed away peacefully at her home during the night, with her Bible at her side. Elena, also known as ‘Elaine’, ‘Sister’, and ‘Mom’ was a virtuous and vivacious woman of God and a pillar in her community. She was a proud Vincentian and she immigrated to Canada in search of a better life for her family. Over the years, she has positively impacted the lives of many Vincentians, Canadians and others through her generosity, caring spirit and prayers. She will truly be missed by many. <br> <br>Elena was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her aunt Heubertine; brothers Winston and Carl; sisters Lyn, Rita Diana and Margarita; sons Anthony (Noel), Clyde, David and Earl; daughters Agnes and Cecilia; grandchildren Raffique, Annessa, Kelicia, Angelique, Jean-Marc, Elasah, Mark-Anthony, Ariel, Jaya, <br>Kiara, Kahayliah, Alexandra, Earl Jr, Nathan, Hadasha, Tyra and Titus; great grandchildren Michael-Zane, Evangelia, Gabriella and Omar; and in-laws Donnette, Helen, Cheryl, Kendal, Gillian, Pablo, Phil and Judith. Elena will also be missed by her extended family including her many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Anita Cadougan as well as her dearest friend, Ruby Richardson. <br> <br>Friends and family are invited to attend visitation hours on Thursday October 8th between 5-9 pm at Rideau Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec H9B 2A6. Due to the ongoing pandemic, visits will be on a rotational basis in order to adhere to social distancing requirements. A private Homegoing service will be held on Friday October 9 at 10 a.m for close family. The service will be live-streamed for friends and family. Elena will be laid to rest at the Rideau Memorial Gardens thereafter. <br> <br>The family wishes to express their gratitude for all prayers and words of encouragement during this difficult time. <br> <br>John 3:16 <br>For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. <br></div>
