<div itemprop="description">It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth 'Betty' Briard (nee Hayes), on June 21, 2024, at the age of 93 years. <br> <br>She was fondly known as Betty, whose kindness, compassion, generosity and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. <br> <br>Betty was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply and forever missed. <br> <br>She will be laid to rest by the side of her beloved late husband, Loney, during a private service at the National Field of Honour Cemetery. <br> <br>A special heartfelt thank you to the kind and caring staff at Ste. Anne’s Hospital. <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the Alzheimer Society Canada (please see below under "Make a Donation").</div>
