It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Emma Filomena Brancaleone (Née Cimaglia) on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the age of 96.
She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband Umberto. Loving mother of Modestina (Tom) and Lena (Loris), devoted grandmother of Alissa (Kyle), Melanie (Philip), and Nicholas (Sabrina). Proud great-grandmother of Marco, Julian, Sophia, Sienna, and Leo.
She also leaves to mourn her brother Pasquale (Edda), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, as well as relatives, and friends. She will be deeply missed, but her love and spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. followed by Funeral services on the same day at 1:30 p.m. in the complex chapel, and the burial at 2:30 p.m. in the Rideau Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
