GARY (GAB) CALLAGHAN
NOVEMBER 20, 1958 – MAY 22, 2024
With very heavy hearts, we announce that Gary Callaghan passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Royal Victoria Hospital on May 22, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate Joanne D’Arsigny, daughter Jessica (Razmig) and son Matthew (Genevieve) as well as his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Christine, Angie and Michel (Sandra), his nieces Julie and Erica, nephews Brendan and Joshua and three adoring grandsons William, Thomas and Leo. Gab now joins his brothers Brian and Mark and his parents Elsie and Arnold. His loyal companions Roxy and Lexie, German Shepherds, are missing him.
Gab was “Mr. Fix It” to our family and friends. If it was broken, he fixed it no matter what it was. He enjoyed gardening, working outside and spending time with his family. Baking was also something he loved to do. Some of the favourites he made were banana bread, zucchini bread, his standard two-egg cake and cookies. We will always remember how happy he was to give them to our family and friends.
We would like to thank the Jones-Callaghan and Vescio Families for all their incredible support and love, as we would not have made it through these extremely tough last three months without them. Gab and I very much appreciated it.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Cedars Cancer Foundation
