<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of George Sinoyannis announces his passing on Thursday, March the 2nd 2023 at the age of 76 years. <br>He will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his beloved wife Sanja, children Nicholas and Alex (Bari Leigh), grand children Georgie and Kodi, brother Dimitris, nephew Nico, goddaughter Dimitra, many cousins as well as relatives and friends from around the world. <br>Born in Athens, after graduating from Waterloo University, George moved to Montreal and worked in the aerospace industry, ultimately becoming Vice President of the company. He also became the General manager of the Hellenic Community of Montreal. George pursued volunteer activities with the Lakeshore Hospital, St. Constantine and St. Helen Greek Orthodox Church, and AHEPA (American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) holding various positions through the years including President of his chapter and being nominated AHEPAN of the Year. George always enjoyed helping the youth and new commers to advance in their endeavors. <br>A celebration of life visitation will take place on Thursday. March 9th 2023 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, D.D.O. 514 685 3344. <br>A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 10, 2023, at 11:00 am at the St. Helen and St. Constantine Greek Orthodox Church at 20 Brunswick, D.D.O., Quebec <br></div>
