He passed away peacefully at Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montreal with his family by his side, hand in hand.

Born in Sargoda, you had a long and wonderful journey from Pakistan to India, and then to Canada; you travelled the world. During this journey, you raised a wonderful family of 7 daughters and a son, providing them with a strong educational foundation. You devoted your work life to the Indian Railways. Throughout your remarkable life, you touched many lives with your selfless helping nature, both near and far. You enjoyed your last decades at your home in Canada, surrounded by your loved ones with your son Harpreet, daughter-in-law Simar, and your grandsons, Arneet and Arshneet.

Though it is difficult to let go, we know you will join our mother, the late Mohinderjit Kaur, to meet your final destiny – ultimate unity with Almighty Waheguru. You will be greatly missed by your daughters and sons-in-law: Gurdeep Kaur & Kuldeep Singh Narula, Harjit Kaur and Gurinder Pal Singh Bhasin, Gurvinder Kaur & Amarpal Singh Makkar, and Jasvinder Kaur. Your grandchildren Harmeet, Manpreet, Mandeep, Sunmeet, and Prabhleen will always cherish the funfilled childhood memories at your Ambala family home. Your legacy will continue through your great-grandchildren Hurshneet, Pravneet, Raisa, Unav, Seerat and Ehran.

We will say our final goodbyes at Rideau Funeral Home (4275, boul.
