<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of TOM GIBB at the age of 91. Devoted husband to his beloved wife of sixty-seven years, Hélène Gibb (Henri). Loving father to his two daughters, Diane & Carole (Joe). Adored grandfather to Joshua (Kristen), Stephanie (Chris), Karlana (Will), Jasmina (Anthony) and Franco (Meghan) who were all his pride and joy. Great-grandfather to Jakob and Logan who both held a special place in his heart. He will be greatly missed by his immediate family, in-laws, nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Pre-decrease by his mother Ethel Evelyn Gibb (Brownrigg), his father James Gordon Gibb and his two brothers Jim and Bobbie. <br> <br> <br> <br>Relatives and friends will be asked to join in a ‘’Celebration of Life’’ at the Rideau Funeral Home at 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC, H9B 2A6 on Tuesday, September 29th (9:00am-10:30am visitation/10:30am-11:30am service). A niche interment for his ashes will be on the same day at 2:00pm at the National Field of Honour located at 703 Donegani Ave., Pointe-Claire, QC, H9R 5G6. <br> <br> <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a memoriam donation to either CAMH (mental health) or Fighting Blindness Canada would be appreciated. <br> <br> <br> <br>NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN. <br> <br> <br> <br>The ceremony will be livestreamed and can be viewed using the following link: <br> <br> <br> <br>Rideau Funeral Home welcomes family members and friends to our livestream service. <br> <br>Do note that the commencement time for the livestream of the commemorative service is approximate.
