Joyce Ladd - Mom - Grannie almost made her goal of 100 years!

June 30, 1924 to June 12, 2024

Dad/Dean/Grampa has been waiting patiently just across the bridge of life since March 5th, 2001.

At 12:12am on June 12th, 2024 after mom shed some tears, said "I Looovvvveee YOU", scrunched up her eyes with tears falling from the corners, as if to say "I don't want to go, but know I must! FAREWELL ... I'll miss you" she breathed a few more times and then joined Dean, Dave and all the family and friends she loved that went before her. Including Skeeter and a myriad of animal friends.
Her loving family was around her bedside as she peacefully departed.
The sun has set on Mom's (Grannie's, Joyce's) life but the glow from her radiant angelic smile is etched in our minds, eyes, hearts and memories forever.

Those who know her well, speak of her kindness, care for others and her love of animals, that came from the depths of her soul. From a young age, Joyce was a very talented artist & writer with a true joy for nature and an adventurous outdoor life that is part of her legacy.
Joyce continued painting and colouring well beyond the limitations of her physical life. She was a warrior and fought to the bitter end to stay with us and is now at peace, with The Lord and other loved ones that awaited her.

Please think of Mom / Grannie / Joyce every time you see a beautiful sunset, sunrise or natures beauty presenting itself.
