Kathlene Dow (nee Dixon)
September 26, 1965 - March 16, 2022
After a brave battle against cancer, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathlene Dixon, on Wednesday, March 16 2022, in Montreal, at the age of 56.
Loving wife and best friend of Kenneth Dow, with whom she shared many wonderful years. She will be dearly missed by her children Meaghan (Lenny), Kailey (Justin), and Alexander. Cherished Grandma to Rebecca, whom she loved with all her heart. Loved as well by her many other “kids”, doggies, and friends.
Her family would like to extend their thanks to the oncology and palliative teams at CHUM for their care and attention.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, March 28th 2022, from 10am to 2pm at Rideau Funeral Home (4275 Sources blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC – 514-685-3344), followed by the burial of the urn at Rideau Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make donations in her name to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research (donate.sunnybrook.ca) or The Open Door Montreal (opendoortoday.org).
