It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of beloved Peggy Ann Sullivan on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 at the West Island Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, Quebec, at the age of 62, surrounded by loved ones.

Born to parents Roland and Mary (McDonald) Sullivan in Roxboro, Quebec.
Predeceased to Peggy is her beloved “Dad” Roland Sullivan, grandparents Charles and Eleanor Sullivan, grandparents Charles and Elizabeth McDonald and numerous uncles and aunts from the Sullivan and the McDonald families.

Peggy is survived by her spouse; Paul (Murphy), “Mom”; Mary (McDonald) Sullivan, aunt; Gloria (Gord), brother; Michael, sister; Maureen (Mike Falkenstein), niece; Kimberly, nephews; James and Callum, and god-daughter; Peggy Allaby. There are also numerous cousins, second cousins and in-laws of the family that Peggy loved very dearly.

As an employee of Air Canada for 35 years, Peggy’s sense of duty and professionalism had marked her as the go to person when a speedy resolution was required. Other than aircraft parts or aircraft servicing, Peggy was known as the “Cookie Queen” as she loved to bake for her co-workers! She made quite a few friends from her Air Canada circle, and stayed in touch with them through the years since her retirement.
Once Peggy retired, she was able to devote most of the summer days to her cottage in New Brunswick on the Shediac River. This cottage is, and will always be, her little piece of Heaven. It always made her smile from ear to ear to return home down east, as if she just had found the fountain of youth! Her spirit shall always be there on the Shediac River. Peggy also never lost track of her childhood, primary and secondary schoolmates. It is a known fact that Peggy was the glue that held her friendships together!

The family will be receiving friends at Rideau Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, H9B-2A6 on Friday, January 11th, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. then on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a short service in the Rideau Chapel at 1:00 p.m. and a reception will take place afterwards at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Rideau’s Reception Hall.

The family would appreciate that Memorial donations to Peggy can be made to the following organizations;
West Island Palliative Care Residence. www.residencesoinpalliatifs.com
St.Mary’s Hospital (SMHC Foundation, Cancer Care Fund). www.smhc.qc.ca

Special thanks from the family & friends for the incredible care, love and respect that Peggy received from all the doctors, nurses, & support staff at these remarkable facilities during her illness.
