<div itemprop="description">Prokopis Alamanos <br>July 17, 1932 – November 25, 2024 <br>It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Prokopis Alamanos on November 25, 2024, at the age of 92. Prokopis was a devoted father, a skilled craftsman, and a man of wisdom who touched the lives of all who knew him. <br> <br>Born in Sinaredes, Greece on July 17, 1932, Prokopis lived a spiritual life. He served as a mounted police officer in Greece, a role he performed with honor and pride. In 1963, he emigrated to Canada to build a better life for his family, carrying with him his love for hard work and dedication. <br> <br>Prokopis was predeceased by his beloved wife, Afroditi Plaskasoviti Alamanos, who passed away on May 18, 2018. Together, they created a life centered on love and family. He is survived by his sons, Nick Alamanos (Caroline) and Peter Alamanos (Heather McKindsey Alamanos), who will forever cherish his guidance and love. <br> <br>Prokopis had a special gift for woodworking, creating beauty and utility with his hands. He was a source of wisdom, offering thoughtful advice and unwavering support throughout his family’s lives. <br> <br>He is also survived by his brother, Theodore Alamanos, and his wife, Stamatia, along with their children, Nick(Yiota) Alamanos and family, Cathy(Bill Argiris) and family. His love extended to all family and friends, who will remember him fondly for his kind heart and steadfast character. <br> <br> <br>Coffee will be served after the service at the church, friends and family are invited. <br></div>
