<div itemprop="description">It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Richard (Dick) Ford Jr. announces his passing on October 23rd, 2022 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Bulger), father, grandfather and vibrant friend. <br>He is survived by his children Maureen (Mark) and Robert (Emma) and his two grandchildren, Amanda and Declan. <br> <br>He will be terribly missed by all who knew him. Dick was a social butterfly, always surrounded by his friends. He was always active in his community holding down the position of President of the BOP Hockey Association, warden at his church, Transfiguration of Our Lord Roman Catholic Parish, member of the Ball and Chain Bowling League, and could be found every Sunday night in the church basement helping to run Bingo back in the day. <br> <br>The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Dollard-des-Ormeaux for caring for Richard these last three years. <br>Visitation: Sunday, October 30th, 2022 from 6pm to 9pm at Rideau Funeral Home 4239 Boul. Des Sources Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6 <br>Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31st, 2022 11am at Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic Church 11775 Filion, Montreal, QC H4J 1T4 <br>Internment on Monday, October 31st, 2022 Following the Mass at Rideau Memorial Gardens 4239 Boul. Des Sources Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6 <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. <br></div>
