Surrounded by his loving family, Robert W. Steadman “Bob” passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the age of 93 (predeceased by his wife Julie). Father to Carol (Bruno), Sandra (Tim), Robert E. (Charito), and Janet. A proud grandfather to Vito (Megan), Robert V., Katrina, Lea (Caleb), Morgan (Marc), Steph (Dalton), Amanda (Mathieu), Naomi (Joel), and Madison. "Super-gramps” to Chloe, Sophie, Kaiden, Owen, Declan, and Selah.
A devoted man with a strong work ethic, he instilled respect and honor in his children. He dedicated 32 years to Air Canada and spent many years volunteering for Scouts Canada, the church, and other community organizations. He built a family cottage that gave us countless cherished memories. Bob was an active member of several clubs, creating model planes, trains, and boats. Always selfless and giving, he loved us deeply and will be greatly missed.
Our family would like to thank the Ste Anne’s Hospital staff on 3B for all the kindness, love, compassion and care given to Dad. We are forever grateful.
In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice or St. Columba by-the-Lake Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
