Ross Desjardins
May 22, 1928 - January 4, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Ross Desjardins announce his passing of natural causes on the morning of Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Ross is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbara (née Atwell), their four children Paul (Barbara), Debbie (Barry), Richard (Silvana) and Karen, and grandchildren Phillip (Stéphanie), Rachel (Anthony), Sarah (Justin), Jennifer, Corey (Renée), Erika (Alex) and Olivia, as well as great grandchildren Nathan, Raphael and Kyron.
Ross, who spent 36 years at Air Canada, enjoyed playing hockey. He served as a Board member of the Cheshire Home for disabled adults in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Ross was always the life of the party, often outdancing everyone, and was also known for his delightful sense of humor and open and compassionate heart. He will be deeply missed by all.
The family also wishes to express its gratitude to the staff at Lakeshore General Hospital for their selfless and compassionate understanding.
Due to Covid restrictions, visitation and memorial service being held on Sunday January 9 will be limited to immediate family only.
