<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tahereh, on 13th of December, in Montreal, at the age of 96. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her loving husband Gholam Abbas. She will be greatly missed by her children Shahla Stee, Chahbaz Azarkadeh, and Shohreh Azarkadeh (and Steve Day). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren William Stee, Daniel Stee (and Hyon Stee), Nasrin Azarkadeh (and Afonso Veiga), Danesh Azarkadeh, and Tamika Azarkadeh, and great-grandchildren, Ariel Stee (and Joseph Schmidt-Weimar), Justin Stee, Lua Stee, Noah Stee, Kian Veiga, and Kai Veiga. She also leaves behind many other family and friends. <br> <br>O SON OF SPIRIT! <br>Burst thy cage asunder, and even as the phoenix of love soar into the firmament of holiness. <br>Renounce thyself and, filled with the spirit of mercy, <br>abide in the realm of celestial sanctity. <br>~ Bahá’u’lláh ~ <br> <br>Born in Tehran, Iran, on 29 December 1923, to Mahtaj Naraghi and Mirza Mahmud Naraghi, the ninth of eleven children, she worked as a seamstress and designer in haute couture, and with her husband, lived in cities in Iran, Great Britain and Canada, served the Bahá’í Faith on a number of Institutions, and as a stalwart teacher of the Cause, always had a kind word, a prayer, a kiss and a hug for all who crossed her path, whether family, friend or passer-by. <br> <br>Special thanks to all of the friends in Montréal who showed her such love and support throughout the latter years of her life, especially Dr. John Kirk. <br> <br>Due to circumstances in regards to the pandemic, a private event will be held in her memory and for her burial on Wednesday, 23 December, beginning at 1 p.m.in Montréal. <br>For those who would like to join the service virtually, please use the respective links below (please copy and paste): <br> <br>Service at 1 P.M. http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/8920 <br> <br>Burial at 2:30 P.M. http://www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/8921 <br> <br> <br>In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Bahá’í Fund or any other charitable organization of your choosing in her name would be most appreciated. <br></div>
